05.01.2021- Sports Centre Closure

Following the announcement made by Boris Johnson on 4th January 2021, we will be CLOSED with immediate effect. There will be no access to the sports centre or any of the facilities.

We are very disappointed to be in this situation again, but we know it is for the greater good. We will post any updates we have on here and also on social media channels. Most of our team will be furloughed, but if you do have any urgent enquiries please email scenquiries@wellswaymat.com

Please rest assured Direct Debits will remain frozen during this time. Please do not cancel your Direct Debit with your bank as this then means we have to sign you back up at a later date.

Try to remain positive during these challenging times and support one another. We can't wait to see you all soon.

Important - Parking Changes

SBL Academy staff and pupils are back full time as of Thursday 3rd September. The normal school car park will be CLOSED to allow for outdoor space for a year group bubble, therefore all staff will be using the Sports Centre car park. As a result, we are expecting the Sports Centre car park to be much busier than normal. Please note this will be especially the case at the start and end of the school day.

We will be reserving some spaces within the car park, however please prepare for this situation by parking on the street, walking or using public transport where possible.

Apologies for any inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

GoFundMe - Keeping SBL Active!

We need YOU! We are aiming to raise £2,000 to purchase some new equipment when we open our doors once more to our members and users.

As with many businesses, we have been hit very hard financially with having to close our doors. We are still paying operational costs, but currently receiving no income. That's why we are calling upon our community's generosity to help raise some funds and give our users something to look forward to!

With the money we raise we want to buy some new and improved equipment to help encourage and energise users to get back into the swing of things.

If you are able to donate, any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your continued support
